OUR MISSION:

To equip, educate and empower the Kimble County community. To work toward our mission, we provide the following services to Kimble County citizens and non-profits:

  • We encourage education through study abroad and beauty/trade school programs for Junction High School graduates.

  • We aim to provide resources for the Llano River and other environmental causes.

  • We promote a cleaner and more aesthetically beautiful Junction with clean-up initiatives.

  • We volunteer our time and resources to provide free educational and art engagement opportunities for our local community.

OUR CORE VALUES:

These organizational values are at the core of our work, shaping how we make decisions and guiding how we engage and interact with partners, donors, peer organizations and each other:

•Honesty and Integrity We take responsibility to ensure our actions match our words. We prioritize open, transparent communication in all interactions. We are committed to continuously learning and adapting to new ideas to help further our mission.

•Courage, Curiosity, and Humility In service to promoting our mission, we are willing to take risks. We ask questions. We learn from others and are humble enough to recognize that we don’t have all the answers. We seek novel solutions, even when they are neither apparent or easy. We embrace the challenge of this work.

•People-Centered Being a volunteer based organization, we believe in the innate value of each person. We work with partners that embrace our values.

WHY GIVE:

Junction, TX is a small community in the middle of the Texas Hill Country. Resources are very limited. We have boots on the ground, working with and within the community and it’s leadership to determine which projects are high priority for bringing about meaningful change.
